I came across this friendly cat during my travels. I snapped this photo of him, and moments later he was gone.
我在鹿港的巷子看到了這支貓。 他真是很開心很友善的貓。 我拍了這張以後他就很快離開。 我喜歡這張的顔色。
I came across this man sculpting glass sculptures in the front of his store. I then made this photo of him at his craft.
I am not 100% sure how I can explain this photo in English. It is sort of an old academic academy in Taiwan. It is a kind of meeting point between academics and religion. It served as a center of learning, but also has a strong focal point on the temple that you see in this photograph.
This photo was made at the Pingxi Lantern Festival in early 2011. Pingxi is a very classic looking town in the northern portion of Taiwan. Its narrow alleys and traditional looking buildings are surrounded by hills, adding to its unique wonder. The even is absoulutely magical, with a vast array of beautiful lanterns continually passing overhead for hours on end.

Travelling around Taiwan has been an adventure of a lifetime for me. These frames represent a fraction of the people and places that I have captured with my lens. It is my hope that these frames will serve as a record of their world, even long after we all are gone.
The photos in this video were all taken by myself, David Negard. I also wrote the accompanying musical score, and I feel that it suits my feelings while on these adventures. Enjoy!
The video opening and credits are in Chinese, but the viewer does not need to be able to read Chinese to appreciate the content.
兩年多我拍過臺灣的人民生活和風景. 結果不只是這些照片，還是一輩子不會忘記的大冒險. 而且這些照片代表代表一個巨大歷史記錄的一小部分.
